Despite Bottom1.com making its public debut on February 24, 2024, its roots stretch back to 2017, a pivotal year when my fascination with the stock market ignited. My exploration soon uncovered a knack for recognizing patterns, a revelation that spurred me to marry this insight with my coding expertise. The result? Software capable of identifying patterns within the live tapestry of futures markets.
This venture swiftly expanded, compelling me to develop an algorithm that encapsulated my methods for pattern recognition. Seamlessly, I crafted a groundbreaking indicator—my own creation. Achieving this was no mean feat. Unlike the open-source ethos prevalent in the programming community, the secretive finance sector often guards its strategies closely, leaving me with scant resources for navigation.
Then, on November 14, 2023, amidst the intricate data, a 'ghost pattern' emerged, concealed within my indicator. Uncovering this was merely the beginning of an arduous journey. It demanded three relentless months of meticulous labor to harness this elusive pattern and visually articulate it on stock charts.
Fueled by ambition, I transformed this proprietary knowledge into an innovative business model. Envisioning an e-commerce platform offering software-as-a-service, I chose to accept Bitcoin in exchange for exclusive access to charts unveiling this ghost pattern. Where does the name 'bottom1' come from?
In the cult classic film "Bloodsport," there unfolds a moment etched in cinematic lore. Frank Dux, the enigmatic protagonist, is challenged to validate his martial arts heritage with a feat of pure, unbridled power—the legendary "Dim Mak," or death touch. Poised before a daunting tower of five solid bricks, tension coils in the air like a spring. From the throng of tournament gatekeepers, a command slices through the silence: "No! Bottom one!" They demanded not just a display of strength, but a spectacle of the impossible.
With the calm focus of a seasoned Zen master, Dux readies himself, the atmosphere thick with anticipation. Then, with a warrior's cry, his hand descends. Yet it is not the top brick he shatters, but the very foundation. The bottom brick disintegrates into a cloud of dust, leaving the onlookers in stunned disbelief. His adversaries, those titans he would soon face in the unforgiving arena, can do nothing but stare in awe. The message was clear: Frank Dux was a force to be reckoned with—a master of mind, body, and the elements themselves.
